Retirement of Ron Ennion
Public Analyst, Ron Ennion retired at the end of June. Ron worked in the public analyst profession for more than forty years, starting in the Chester lab in 1975, which eventually became part of Eurofins in 2001.
Ron is well known to many local authorities, particularly in Wales, the North West of England and Northern Ireland. He will be greatly missed by them and by the public analyst team at PASS.
As well as serving his local authorities, Ron also made a significant contribution to the APA, serving on Council and acting as Honorary Secretary for many years. The APA look forward to welcoming him as their guest to their annual conference in Cardiff in October.
Ron is planning to spend his newfound freedom walking in the Welsh mountains and spending time on his new allotment, and when not tending to his greens, may help his fellow allotment-holders out with advice on food law compliance!
The APA wishes Ron a long and happy retirement.
